Me-Made-June 2011: Dan prvi / Day one

Dan prvi. Evo nas opet na početku igre! 

Ovu haljinu sam sašila pre par godina i veoma rado je nosim - udobna je, zgodna za posao, ali i za vrele letnje dane. Koristila sam kroj iz Burde 11/2006, #130, koji sam dosta izmenila. Originalan kroj je namenjen za niže osobe, pa sam ga produžila za 2-3cm u predelu struka. Zatim sam prepravila šnit tako da haljina ima klasično kopčanje tipično za košulje i dodala kragnu za košulju. Kroj za rukave sam uzela od košulje iz Burde 1/2008, #108. 

Belu dugmad sam slučajno odabrala, jer sam ih imala u svojim zalihama u tom trenutku, a dopalo mi se kako izgledaju spram crne podloge. 

Day one. Here we are again on the beginning of the game! 

I made this dress few years ago and I'm very fond of it - it's cozy, office appropriate, especially on hot summer days. The original pattern for this dress was BWOF 11/2006 #130. A petite model, that I altered a lot. First, I had to lengthen it in the waist area, since I’m not petite at all (I am 175cm tall) – I added around 2-3cm to the waist length. Then, since this dress isn’t actually a shirt dress, I added button closure, and altered the collar to make it look like a shirt collar. I used sleeves from the blouse BWOF 1/2008 #108 – which I also altered by reducing the puff. 

I added white buttons as a detail – this was quite spontaneous, I matched the buttons I had in my stash with the dress and these ones caught my eye.
