Planinarenje i šivenje / Hiking and sewing

I went on a trekking tour yesterday, across Homolje, and eastern part of Serbia. The tour itself wasn't very difficult, since I'm not much of a hiker :). Really, this was my first time trekking (I don't count in excursions to the forest of the Fruska Gora mountin, to which I went as a child during the summer breaks, from a local village my grandparents lived in), and I was pretty excited by it. The tour was 20km long, and except for a few hills and heights we climbed to, it was rather easy (which was my prerequisite for joining the group).

Kako bih ostala dosledna svojoj odluci da ispratim Me Made May izazov, reših da se opremim Nora jaknom, koja se odlično pokazala u ovoj situaciji - lagana, udobna i prikladna spram vremenskih prilika.

In order to meet the Me Made May challenge, I wore my Nora military jacket, which did well in this situation - it was very light, cozy and so appropriate for the weather conditions.

Usput sam i pričuvala ovčice na pašnjaku. Nakon slikanja sam ih podšišala, i evo me, sad predem vunu :)

Along the way, I managed to shepherd a flock of sheep. After the photo shoot, I cut the wool and now here I am, spinning the wool :)

After 20km of walking, my feet burned, and not just mine, but everybody's from the group! Luckily, a nice man on a tractor appeared and drove us to the local tavern, where we compensated for all the lost calories!

Sve u svemu, oduševljena sam celokupnim iskustvom, i sigurno ću uskoro ići na još koju sličnu turu. Možda me to natera da sašijem prikladne pantalone, a onda eto nove teme za blog!

All in all, I'm thrilled with the whole experience, and I'll surely go for another tour pretty soon. Perhaps that'll make me sew some appropriate trekking pants, which will give me a new topic for blogging!
