I koštala me tričava 3 eura!
Day six.
Patrones No. 269, #28 (Tintoretto) pattern. This dress turned out a bit different than the original pattern. I have to work on understanding the Patrones’ sizing. I had to narrow the whole dress a LOT. Approximately, 15cm in the waist area! After resizing it, I didn’t want to experiment with the sleeves, so I omitted them. Also, I slightly changed the neckline – made 2 pleats instead of 4. The dress is fully lined. I used thin white cotton.
All in all, I think it is one cute dress. And I can say it was a cheap one – cost me approx. 3 euros.
Suknju sam porubila cik-cak bodom u 3 sloja.
Day seven.
I guess this isn’t polka dot ornament. But it is dotty though… I was restricted by the amount of fabric I had – approximately 0.70m, so I had to fit the pattern to the fabric. Since I couldn’t find an appropriate skirt model in my BWOF stash, I decided to make one myself. The skirt has lining made out of red crepe viscose. I didn’t hem the skirt, but serged it – I don’t have a serger, so I used thin zig zack stitch and run it 3 times on both the skirt and the lining.
