This winter a neighbor asked me to sew her a dress for a wedding she was going to. She wanted to make a variation of this dress.

Bluzu i suknju originalne haljine sam spojila u jednu celinu, a brusne zamenila princes šavovima. Takođe, korigovala sam i izrez oko vrata i dužinu rukava.
I usually don't sew by order, but I made an exception this time. The basis of the dress was Burda Style pattern 11/2012, #122, which I changed a lot. I merged the skirt and bodice panels, and replaced darts with princess seams. I also altered the neckline and sleeves length.
Here's how the dress turned out. We used a fabric with some latex in it, it sews beautifully, but it's really hard to press (the SAs impress into fabric when holding iron on the for more than 2 seconds). With some tricks I managed to press the dress nicely, and my lovely neighbor looked stunning on the wedding.
